Before 1964, Gambia had played Sierra Leone, Guinea-Bissau, Senegal, Liberia and Cape Verde.
They also played in the N'krumah Cup. and were scheduled to play an African Games qualifier against Mali in December 1964 (they requested permission from FIFA to play this game as they were not yet affilaited). |
