Does anybody have any more results from this? I think Taiwan played matches throughout August, and perhaps they went to other countries.

Sandakan is in North Borneo, which was a separate colony from Malaya at the time.

1962 Taiwan tour
14- 7 (Saigon?) South Vietnam (XI?) 1-1 Taiwan
25-7 (Bangkok?) Thailand 4-0 Taiwan
27- 7 Singapore Singapore 2-2 Taiwan (Jalan Besar)
28- 7 Singapore All-Singapore 0-4 Taiwan (Jalan Besar)
??- 8 Kuching Sandakan XI 0-10 Taiwan (4000)
22- 8 Singapore All-Singapore 0-1 Taiwan (Jalan Besar, 3000)
[this was to prepare for Asian Games, but Taiwan was excluded by Indonesians, just before games started]

Update: corrected venue of match vs Sandakan, and added results vs Thailand and Vietnam thanks to Tanaka.

I think:
Singapore = Asian Games team
All-Singapore = anybody in Singapore, including Europeans/army etc

But without lineups, can't be 100% sure.

Tanaka means in the original draw, Singapore were listed.

The articles I posted above suggest that the Singapore asian games committee would only allow the football team to participate if they did well against Taiwan (Formosa).

In fact, they did get a 2-2 draw, but they were rejected anyway:
