I'm not 100% sure : they could be the same, or "Malayan Chinese" could be ethnic Chinese living in Malaya, whereas "Sino-Malays" could be ethnically mixed Chinese/Malay.
Remember that I couldn't access the full articles of the Straits Times, only the first 2 or 3 sentences. |

From what I can see, I think Hong Kong United and Hong Kong Select are both Hong Kong XI (i.e. not the Hong Kong National team). In the 1986 match, "Hong Kong United" is the Hong Kong League XI. |

For 25-1-49, KFA says a 5-1 win vs Macao, you say 3-0 win vs Macao. I think I believe you more than KFA, based on their other mistakes (e.g. 1953...). Did you confirm the 3-0 score with newspapers?
One question about your Macao list: many of the interport matches you listed on this topic:
http://roonba.20.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?t=691
are not included (for example, 1951-59). Why? Did Macao use foreign players?

Yes, this lists some of South Korea's games by opponent. But I couldn't find any page for Macao, so it could be incomplete (or, I just couldn't find it...)
I used this KFA link:

To elaborate:
"Hong Kong United" = All-Hong Kong
Hualian = Combined Chinese
"Western Union" = means Combined Westerners or Foreigners.
Junlian = Combined Army/Military (i.e. combined services)
The KFA website doesn't include 1960,61,62,63,66,68,69
They seem to befriendlies played on the way home from a tournament (e.g. Merdeka, King's Cup), except for the 1962 games - I can't figure out why they were there in 1962, was it part of a bigger tour?
The goalgoalgoal list seems only to include matches vs local sides.
For example on 30/4/1953, South Korea 3-1 Indonesia in Hong Kong,
and on 25/12/1974, South Korea 3-1 Indonesia in Hong Kong |

Tanaka - can you ask the goal3 forum contributors, is it OK to publish some of their data on RSSSF (i.e. make corrections and additions to RSSSF files)?
Or what are their own plans for the data?
Does the goal3 forum contain other info, for example lists of games before WW2, or detailed match data (team lineups etc) ? |
